I wanted to take a moment and write a quick blog about an Aces Jiu Jitsu Club Friday night tradition. For those that do not know, every Friday night at Aces (The Domain location) we set the clock for 7 rounds at 7 minutes a piece … Pick a partner, roll for 7 minutes, change partners and repeat!
This is an opportunity to test what you are learning against other Aces in a live roll. It’s also an opportunity to get better and receive important feedback from Professor Mikal, the coaching staff and some of our awesome upper belts. At 7x7s you will push yourself, you will be pushed, your game will grow and you will get one of the best workouts of your life.
If you are not a part of our BBLT program, that’s ok! 7x7s is open to any Aces member. All you have to do is show up ready to take the mat.
Once again, 7×7’s at 7pm every Friday. It’s with the idea that iron sharpens iron that 7x7s (seven sevens) was born. Come push yourself! I hope to see you all there!
