What is BJJ (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu)?
BJJ is the art of controlling another person’s body using leverage and mechanics. As a result, we can hold a larger attacker in a position you chose or “submit them” by strangling them or breaking a limb to end a fight. You will also learn how to hold down an attacker and call for help.

Who this class is for?
The class is for anyone. In this class ALL LEVELS of BJJ practitioners work together to learn, tighten up, and implement the tried and true BJJ techniques that have made Aces Jiu Jitsu Club the #1 BJJ team in Texas year after year in competition.
Whether you are a new beginner or seasoned BJJ veteran, there is a lot to gain from this class. Learn new techniques and sharpen them on different body types and skill levels. Then try your hand at out-thinking our pros. Many people say its the most fun they have had in a long time! You're not going to want to miss your new favorite BJJ class!
Also, unlike other teams, our BJJ classes are organized into a year long syllabus that gives you some true structure. It also allows for you to ask as many questions as you like and turns your BJJ experience more into a conversation than a class. Our BJJ syllabus subject changes monthly with a different focus each week. This helps you ACTUALLY LEVEL UP your mastery in a subject.
