You’ll recognize former child actor Jonathan Lipnicki from his movies Jerry Maguire and Stuart Little. Well, that little boy is all grown up now. He’s still making movies and at 26years of age he has also earned a brown belt in Brazilian jiu-jitsu. In a recent Instagram post, Lipnicki revealed that as a child and teenager, he was often the target of bullying.
This should serve as a reminder that anyone can be bullied … even someone with the early Hollywood credentials Jonathan Lipnicki earned.
It should also serve as a reminder that Brazilian Jiu Jitsu is a powerful tool for both physical and mental health. You can see his two Instagram posts below.

Im sharing a little of my experience. It gives me anxiety being this open, but being bullied is a universal problem. I am not a victim, but rather empowered because I was able to turn to my art. I am grateful for the amazing life I have and I hope I can pass on that it DOES get better. As much as it is easier said than done, overcoming being bullied is a reality and I hope this resonates with all of you ❤️❤️❤️❤️
