Former Champion Retires from Mixed Martial Arts

For fans of MMA, all that is ever really seen is what happens inside the cage … very few get to see or understand the tremendous sacrifice these fighters make in order to compete at the highest levels.  The pressure of spilling their blood, sweat, and tears under the bright lights and in front of millions of MMA fans around the world is something only top tier fighters can understand.

Miguel “Angel” Torres was one of those fighters for a long time. Torres was able to make himself a popular name fighting for the WEC. While his transition to the UFC did not go as planned, he continued to dominate other regional promotions like United Combat League, Rebel FC, and Titan FC on UFC Fight Pass.

Things have been good for Miguel “Angel” Torres for a long time, but as we already know, all good things must come to an end. Last week, was the end for Torres as he decided to hang up his gloves and move on to another chapter in his life. See his Facebook post below.
