$10,000 Reward Offered For Information Leading To Arrest Of California BJJ Instructor’s Killer

Curated Story via Jiu Jitsu Times

The family of black belt jiu-jitsu instructor Ramon Diaz is offering a $10,000 reward for information leading to the arrest and conviction of the person who killed him, according to KESQ news.

Diaz, who was 48 years old when he was murdered outside of his home in March, was an instructor at Palm Springs Jiu-Jitsu in California. Comments from friends, family members, students, and fellow staff members have described Diaz as a beloved member of the community, and MMA fighter Cub Swanson had given Diaz credit for starting his career as a fighter.

Surveillance videos were recently released and show the unidentified suspect exiting a vehicle and going toward the victim’s Cathedral City home before fleeing the residence and jumping back into the vehicle.

Anyone with information should call 855-44-RAMON or the CCPD at (760) 770-0300.
